[TB] I watched the Council meeting and swearing in on the internet. Being as it was held in the stairway instead of the Council Chambers, the sound was not upto its usual standards. The Council unity seemed to disappear as soon as Ostrow was elected President, he was unable to get his choices elected to the VP and committee chair positions. I was disappointed that Barrett Lane was not elected Chair of Ways and Means, I'm not even sure (due to the sound quality and not having the handouts) he is on the committee. Probably no one understands the City budget better than CM Lane, the City has lost out if he did not remain on the committee .
