The Greens better get their lobbying act together.

[TB]  I'm not sure I understand which side the Green Party is expected
to lobby.  Against because both Rep. Kahn and Sen. Sabo are DFLers?  For
because they think they can elect more people sooner?

Frankly, I don't see that this is a partisan issue.  I can see some
reasons for being both for or against the legislation.  I said last year
before the election that I thought the 2001 election should have been
for a 2 year term and it is still my understanding that the old Council
could have taken action to make that so.

Would any city other than Minneapolis be affected by this legislation?
I noticed on the Legislature website that the House bill has 3 sponsors,
all from Minneapolis (Gray was one, don't recall the other).
