I can really appreciate this post.  There are many things that I don't
elect to participate in, but I am not trying to do away with them.  I
didn't vote for the library referendum, but I am not going to torpedo in
word or deed the new project; Minneapolitans have spoken.  They want a new
library.

The one thing I want to mention is this: if we HAD no stadium and wanted to
attract a team to Minneapolis, we would HAVE to build a new stadium.  I
disagree in whole with the building of a new stadium to KEEP a team here.

Owners ought to be lobbying Major League Baseball and the player's "Union"
for a salary cap; not lobbying our legislators/civic leaders for a stadium.
