Just some supportive comments...
I think the "silent sports" ideas are wonderful. Not only do people who participate in the sports benefit, but also those who don't participate know that the bikers are going to be kept on specified trails. This helps to eliminate problems with erosion and also makes those walking in the parks feel like they don't have to be on guard all the time watching out for off- road bikers.
It sounds like these are great solutions to environmental problems and also gives people another way to use parks and nature to their advantage without the cost to the environment. Being an avid biker and loving the out-doors myself, i would definitely take advantage of the proposed trails.
