[Mpls] Redistricting Commission

Last evening all Commissioners (except the one on vacation) slogged their way through the Minnesota blizzard to attend the Commission hearing.  Surprisingly, many community members also found their way through the snow to participate.  Since we have no idea how many people couldn't come, it was decided to remail the list for a public hearing on March 21.  We also added to that list neighborhood groups and business associations.  The hearing will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21, in the City Council chambers, Room 317, City Hall.

I wanted to give the neighborhood associations advance notice that they will be receiving an invitation, but hope many of you will be able to attend.  This is your opportunity to express your feelings about how the Ward lines are drawn and the impact of those lines on your neighborhood.
