The Redistricting Commission elected former Alderwoman (and that's what they were when she served) Parker Trostel (R) as the chair and ninth member. That means there are three DFLers, three Republicans, two Independence Party and one Green on the Commission.
The next meeting is scheduled for this Thursday, March 7th a 6 PM in City Hall. They will set some timelines and meeting dates at this meeting as well as cover other business and perhaps a start to the process itself, and some educational background. I cannot attend Thursday, so someone else will have to cover this.
