Tony Scallon and Scott Neiman replace Rick Stafford and Fred Markus as seated/voting members once the ward lines have been adopted. We City council appointees retire and the Park Board appointees take our places for the purpose of redrawing the Park district lines. The Redistricting Commission never has more than nine members as the Charter Commission chose to configure this 2002 incarnation. They could have appointed one or two additional members ostensibly independent of party labels but chose not to do so.
