Nothing to add to this thread, except for positive reinforcement to Dave Polaschek for his reporting. It's great to see the list used by citizen-correspondents to try to ferret out facts, irrespective of a point of view.
Points of view are great, too, of course - our stock in trade - but I find reports like Dave's help me understand better what might have happened, and that's a cool thing.
