There's a way to eliminate all the problems, headaches, and heartaches that
go with decennial gerrymandering (aka redistricting):  Get rid of it.

It's time to learn more about proportional representation and how ALL
groups, defined by any criteria you like, can have a chance to get
represented on elected councils and boards.  Nobody has to jockey to get
control of the council that appoints an unrepresentative redistricting
commission.  Nobody has to manipulate or interpret rules.  Everybody gets
fairer elections and better representation.

It's not The Way We've Always Done It, but it's not difficult to understand,
implement, and use (i.e., vote).  Let's have a real discussion about this
real alternative to manipulating ward and district lines every ten years.
