I don't think Wes Skoglund would self-identify as a "progressive", so it is
no disrespect to disagree with that label for him.  If "progressive" means
coming from the Wellstone/John Marty/Paul Ogren/Karen Clark wing of the DFL,
then Wes is far too conservative for the progressive label.  Wes is a
mainstream DFLer, which is fine if you think "mainstream" is the best we can
hope for.  Jean Wagenius is a true progressive on issue after issue.

Progressive Minnesota recently endorsed Jean Wagenius for the 62B House
Seat.  Wes chose not to screen.  It would be nice to have a progressive
voice in the Senate for District 62.
