A review of the Outfront MN web site reveals that both Jean Wagenius and Wes Skoglund
have 100% voting records in support of Outfront MN positions, including '96 and '97
votes on DOMA. The link is:

Wes Skoglund states that the committee vote was a calculated maneuver by DFL
leadership to add the DOMA amendment to the Human Services bill in order to protect
vulnerable House Members from having to take a separate floor vote. Later, Steve
Sviggum moved to separate it on the floor as a ploy to get members individual votes.
That vote was used in various elections and in the following year the DFL lost
control of the house.
