NRP has always encouraged collaboration with other
neighborhoods on projects where it makes sense.

There have been and continue to be very successful
planning efforts where neighborhoods have partnered
with each other. There have been several commercial
planning, housing/development, senior service,
environmental and other projects that have crossed
neighborhood boundaries in very successful
partnerships.

I have heard discussion that the four neighborhoods
that share the corner of 54th and Lyndale may engage
in a shared "Master Development" plan for the area.
You can contact Peg Mountin, NRP Neighborhood
Specialist for that area at 673-5102 for more
information. She would gladly assist the four
neighborhoods in creating the planning partnership if
that was the desire.
