Hi, I work downtown and have to say I'm getting pretty tired of the lack of places to throw one's trash. After eating lunch outside today, I had to walk 6 blocks to find a garbage can to toss a darn apple core! Now I know this issue is more complicated than it should be, with money for trash clean-up coming from a certain fund, and business owners having to pay into the fund to get a receptacle and if they don't the trash just collects on the sidewalk, but it's picked up if it's on the street...anyway--this is ridiculous. There's a budget crunch, of course, but what kind of city doesn't even supply garbage cans for its citizens?
