If the Board intends to override, then I hope that
they will also release a letter addressing the points
that the Mayor made along with his veto.

The points he stated sounded clear and reasonable, but
I will acknowledge that there are quite possibly facts
that I have not yet considered which were not brought
up by the Mayor.

If the Board is making a decision to override based on
political power struggles as opposed to what is the
best decision for the city, I will be VERY
disappointed. Decisions made for political power as
opposed to what is in the interest of the constituency
contributes greatly to my distaste for "P"oliticians.
(Ranking after outright corruption, of course)

Of course, I will not make a judgement on the reasons
for the override until the Park Board expresses their
side of things, andso I await the Park Board's
response with great interest.
