As businesses are conceptual entities and do not
exist, I don't think it's a equivalent question.

This is an idea I've been recently exploring, so it's
up for discussion and refinement.

No, I don't think business should be taxed. Or have
rights. Or be anything other than what they are - an
conceptual organization to help enable people to work
together. A business is nothing more than a contract.

What I believe is that the so called "Corporate
Shield" should be completely removed, and that all
profits, liabilities and property tax should be passed
through from the business to the owners. (similar to
the functioning of an LLC corporation - I think it's
form K-1).

The owners are then responsible to pay the taxes on
the profits they've made.

I also personally think there should only be one form
of tax. Personally, I think income/profit is the way
to go, but that's completely up for discussion.
