As businesses are conceptual entities and do not exist, I don't think it's a equivalent question. This is an idea I've been recently exploring, so it's up for discussion and refinement. No, I don't think business should be taxed. Or have rights. Or be anything other than what they are - an conceptual organization to help enable people to work together. A business is nothing more than a contract. What I believe is that the so called "Corporate Shield" should be completely removed, and that all profits, liabilities and property tax should be passed through from the business to the owners. (similar to the functioning of an LLC corporation - I think it's form K-1). The owners are then responsible to pay the taxes on the profits they've made. I also personally think there should only be one form of tax. Personally, I think income/profit is the way to go, but that's completely up for discussion. - Jason Goray, Sheridan NE. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Y!
