Yes, Dave does have lung cancer. Dave also smokes. According to his
Oncologist, his lung cancer is of a type least likely caused by smoking. It
is more likely caused by environmental factors, such as the years he spent
as a carpenter working with treated wood and yucky adhesives. Although I
wouldn't presume to put words into Dave's mouth, I am pretty sure Dave would
never consider supporting a smoking ban in bars and restaurants.
