I am curious about the 2 situations that Project 504 helped out families. #1 - a 2x2 hole in the ceiling where waste water dripped down. Was the hole there prior to the tenants moving in? Why didn't the tenants do a rent escrow? This type of problem can be totally repaired in a maximum of 3 days. The referee probably would have given them a free months rent and the problem gets fixed immediately! #2 - This one is hard to believe. Are you saying that the walls just happend to fall in after a tenant moved in? Come on. What caused the walls to fall in? Again in a worst case scenario, my crew can redo a small kitchen totally including new walls, cabinets, dishwasher, subfloor and floor in 1 week. Rent escrow is the best and fastest way to go.
One last question, do non profits file their returns 2 years after the year that they are due? According to the Minnesota Attorney generals's Office, Project 504 has not filed its 2001 returns and is no longer listed as a legitimate non profit with the State of Minnesota. In fact they are no longer listed at all! Comments??? Steve Meldahl Jordan (work) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gregory D.
