Hello Minneapolis Folks:

Congratulations to Don Samuels and the amazing group
of volunteers that helped him win this election. I
encouraged Don. I also told him I would be staying out
of the race if Olin Moore made it through the primary.
I know this does not sound like political courage but
I would have supported either on of the Third Ward
candidates had the other lost the primary. I believe
the Third Ward ended up with the best two choices for
the general and should feel good about all the
wonderful candidates that made the decision to run.
The Third Ward has an amazingl group of activist that
care deeply about their community.

I have great respect for Olin Moore. I worked on the
same side with Olin and have been on the oposite side
in the past. Olin has always treated me with respect
and never seemed to hold a grudge. We have been on a
diffrent side in the past and he has always been a joy
to battle, friendly, funny, charming, warm, and
respectful. He has been a passionate public servant
for the residents of Fifth Congressional District.
Regardless of this outcome he will continue to serve
the public with respect and dignity. Thank you Olin
Moore.

I believe most of the negative talk by either side has
done little to help the candidates. I doubt many folks
have been influenced to vote for Don or Olin because
someone on the list provided a negative refelction of
the oposing candidate. I believe both candidates are
outstanding people and both will serve the public well
in the future. We gained a wonderful voice for the
City Council and still have a wonderful voice working
for Congressman Sabo. Congratulations To The Third
Ward.
