Calm down Michael, I don't think anybody was intending to insult the more pricey places, nor those individuals who patronize them. (Though I can only speak for myself, of course.)
I too loved Manny's the one time I was there. The Rush Limbaugh-sized steaks, desserts and cigars were mind-boggling. I couldn't eat for two days afterwards. I would highly recommend it to anyone who can afford the tab. (My mom treated me the time I was there.) This list includes people of diverse means, not to mention tastes and interests. Some of us are more familiar with the less-expensive "joints" whether out of necessity or out of taste. I don't think anyone was trying to slam the "classy" places, nor those who chose to dine at them.
