Members - the list has firm rules against personal insult, etc. It's very important that we all try not to characterize our opponents but respond to their issue-based arguments.
We all slip at times - these are passionate issues - and sometimes the personal outrage has been genuinely provoked. But if you have something to say about a member's tone or behavior, email the person off-list. This is a place for issues, not personalities. In other words, take a higher road than the person whose behavior you resent. Do it for the good of the list, if not your momentary blood pressure. Thanks, David Brauer List manager , your constant insulting of everyone on the List isn't > very productive. Whether > discussions on the List will result in any action is another story, but it > has to be more effective than constant whining. TEMPORARY REMINDER: 1. Send all posts in plain-text format. 2. Cut as much of the post you're responding to as possible. ________________________________ Minneapolis Issues Forum - A City-focused Civic Discussion - Mn E-Democracy Post messages to: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Digest, and more: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
