I'm not an expert, or even very knowledgable on the
homeless and affordable housing issue. However, I do
have a phone. So here's what I've come up with.

Call #1
Over at Simpson Emergency Housing, 2740 1st Ave. S,
the men's facility if full, but 4 spaces open for
women and children.
Call #2
People Serving People, 400 S 10th St, has openings,
but they are for families with children. Person on
phone advised me to call the City/County first call
for help line for the status on how many beds are
available in city.
Call #3
First call for Help said to call Salvation Army's
Harbor Lights, 1010 Currie Ave.
Call #4
Harbor Lights said they have room for one single man,
if they hurry.

Caitlin's 1 cent analysis - If you are a woman or
family with a child you have a better chance to sleep
on a bed tonight than a single man.

be a safe level.)

outside tonight?
800 in Minneapolis, 200 in St. Paul

11. On any given night, what is the number of
unaccompanied youth (ages 10-17) in the Twin Cities
without permanent shelter?
660 

12. How many shelter beds exist in the Twin Cities for
unaccompanied youth ages 10-17?
57 shelter beds
