I agree -- I don't like the idea of the conglomerate forcing the small business owner out and if Target can't turn a profit there, how will Cub?
Besides, part of what I enjoy the most about city living is the LACK of big stores like that. I like the smaller businesses owned and/or managed by my neighbors that treat me like a real customer when I come through the door -- not just a consumer.
