Eduardo: my comments about a pattern of posts was in response to the comment "This [post] is purely racist and insensitive , and the primary reason African Americans, and other Persons of Color rarely participate in this list." This sentiment - that people haven't participated in the past - indicates this has been a problem before this most recent post. That requires a second (or perhaps more) similar post. Thus, my comment about "sustained" racism was only in the context of previous problems. I'm not in the business of telling people what to feel and when to be offended, or how many posts it takes them to get that way. But I do eventually catch these brickbats, and cannot recall a similar allegation of racism. If I'm forgetting, or missing something, again, I ask members to email me offlist. Sincerely, David Brauer List manager TEMPORARY REMINDER: 1. Don't feed the troll! Ignore obvious flame-bait. 2.
