Considering that the Strib reporter didn't really know the terrain and had to 
write the story pretty fast and keep it short, it wasn't badly done.  The 
pro-establishment bias was subtle for a Strib article: It was more balanced than 
usual for a strib piece concerning the NAACP.  I'm sure there are boundaries 
for Strib reporters and they get to know them after a while. One sided 
reporting which reflects total identification with the establishment is evidently in 
bounds, at least from time to time (e.g., education beat reporter allie shah).
