I encourage those of you who are interested to go to Board meetings and seeIt is high time for the park board meetings to be televised.
for yourself. Look at how Commissioners vote on all issues. I think you'll
be surprised at what you'll see and learn.
It's telling that the board moved to a new building, spent huge sums of money to renovate it, and yet did not arrange to have the board room set up for televising their meetings.
Likewise, the minutes (which I assume contain a record of all votes) for each public meeting should be posted to their Internet web site.
