The way I see it is that the City has received 3 bids for the recycling
contract.  In essence what service they  are offering and their price and
ability to guarantee the service are all about equal.  Two of the companies
(BFI and Waste Management) are first cousins to Enron and Halliburton and
are multinational corporations that are organized for the purpose of making
money for the filthy rich.  One of the many things they do to make money  is
to take on contracts to pick up and process recyclables.   The other company
(Eureka) is  organized for the purpose of pulling materials, otherwise
destined for the land fill or garbage burner, out of the waste stream to be
recycled or reused.  Which one do you think I should vote for?
