Politics involving crime and punishment can, and often
does, become criminal.  As far as I can read from between
the lines, the issues at hand involve the suppression
of a report (evidence).  Who knows at this point who
is implicated in this, we certainly can't tell from
the news reports. Doug Grows' column makes be wonder
just what he knows, it must be more than I do for him
to criticize Chief McManus' actions so strongly (or is
he just acting as a front man for the union?).  Maybe
we should wait for more information before drawing
conclusions.
