Why not suspend the officers until an investigation is done? The real question here (at this point) isn't whether or not the officers in question are quilty of anything illegal, it's whether or not enough information was brought to light to further an "independent investigation" into the original internal investigation of the shooting of officer Ngo.

We're not at a point yet where we SHOULD expect to know this. Maybe kudos should be handed to McManus for not letting the information that he has (at this point) that's caused the suspension, to come to light. Afterall, if more imformation were conveyed to the public at this point in time, and it turned-out to be unsubstantiated, wouldn't that be more damaging to the careers of the officers involved?

Let's give this guy a chance and see where it goes.
