Does anyone else get the feeling that we are watching "the gang who couldn't shoot straight?"
We have (or had) a police department that didn't know when or where the undercover officers were; we had a horrible incident and a botched investigation; we had reluctance on the part of the department to acknowledge the incident or give comfort to its victim; we have a new Police Chief who appears he may have jumped the gun and acted too quickly, etc., etc., All I know is that as a taxpayer, I am starting to see lots of dollar signs in potential settlements - Ngo, the three suspended officers, and McManus (if he is asked to or forced to leave). Can't anyone make this right? Jan Del Calzo Lynnhurst REMINDERS: 1. Think a member has violated the rules? Email the list manager at [EMAIL PROTECTED] before continuing it on the list. 2.
