[TB]  The picket signs along Franklin Avenue, near the LRT stop, say
that the union is "on strike".  I'm not seeing any interest from either
side in negotiating.

Also, it was earlier written on this list that the jobs of the
Southwest Transit drivers aren't comparable because they only run rush
hour express routes.  Checking http://www.swtransit.org/routes.htm ,
the Southwest transit web site, I see busses running all day (M-F)
along with a couple of local routes out in the 'burbs.  

Perhaps they'll settle before the State Fair so we don't have to try to
find a parking space out there.
