I think many list members do, its just that the Twins are getting the most press right
now. Some of the things you mentioned were swept in under the radar. Some, like
Target, happened anyhow. Some, like Cherry Holmes, got voted out of office.

this list has opened my eyes to a lot of things going on right under my nose, and I
thank all of you that post for that. You all have helped me become something most
politicians fear, and informed voter.

Jennifer Pedersen is on a track I like. Lets have public ownership of these teams. I
own a piece of the Packers. Its a useless piece of paper for the most part, but it
gives me some pride, and a lot less to complain about when I know the profits are not
being reaped to a greedy billionaire. Lets put the Twins and Vikings out for stocks
and see what happens. I for one will get in line to buy a share or two.

Is there a rationale for corporate welfare discrimination?

Listmembers don't seem to mind that other private, for-profit entities are
stuffing their pockets with public money. Why the vitriol for sports?

Why weren't the same arguments made for Target Corporation, Ryan
Construction, Allina, Sears, Cherryhomes & Minn, Dick Brustad, George
Sherman, Hunt & Gregory, CSM Corporation, and an endless list of tax
avoiders also known as non-Profiteers, etc. etc.?

Just wondering why this logic only applies to sports facilities. Is it
fuzzy thinking, or am I missing something.
