Boredom, sadly but necessarily, is not prohibited. What's boring to you
might not be boring to others. Likewise, stuff you find interesting might
bore others - but you wouldn't want asking you to stop if you still had more
to say.

There's a delete key for posts that bore you; don't be afraid to use it (it
only takes a nanosecond). 

In the end, the best way to change a discussion is to introduce a better
topic.
