And do smokers have any rights?  they are not doing
anything illegal yet we seem to be treating them as
second class citizens.  

Me:

John, my only point is that smokers should be able to smoke outside without
disturbing the peace. Yes, there are some limits on their behavior as it
affects others. I wouldn't call that second-class citizenship, just
civilization.
