Let me repeat:

I am ignoring the "smoking rooms" idea.

The reason for that is because, apart from Mr. Atherton, NOBODY [emphasis
added] in Minneapolis seems to be advocating for that position.

To put it more clearly, NOBODY includes government, bar owners, smokers,
non-smokers and the guy who lobbies for the convention/hospitality trade
(whatever his name is).

Since NOBODY seems to be considering this idea, I consider it pretty much
dead. Since the rest of Mr. Atherton's arguments follow from this pretty
much dead idea, I won't bother with any of it.
