From Adam Harrington at Metro Transit
"Two routes travel east and west on Lake St.; #21 local; #53 limited stop. Per week day 156 buses are east bound on Lake turning north on Chicago, east into Sears and the bus station. They leave going So. on Eliott, take a left on Lake and continue east.
Route #5 southbound on Chicago Ave. proposes to have its 138 buses turn left into the Sears site. After leaving the station they would travel south on Eliott to Lake, turn right on Lake and then left on Chicago continuing their southbound journey."
Ergo, turn lanes essential at Chicago Lake and four lanes essential leading up to and away from Chicago Lake.
