Wrong. The only way to keep kids out of drugs and get society back on track is to restore social and fiscal moderates to power who recognize that they work for the public and not the corporations and the rich. They will recognize that we have plenty of money to cover all our needs if we roll back the tax handouts we gave to the two previously mentioned groups. They would also stop buying into the "government is bad, business is good" hype that corporate America has been shoving down our throats since good old GE spokesman Ronald Reagan started trumpeting it in the 80's. Government has never been "bad" for the ordinary citizen unless it stops protecting his interests and starts siding with corporate power. But many American's believe it because our friends on the right have been touting it for so long. The money is there but our Governor is too tied to his "No New Taxes" that he can't admit his mistake and so the handouts to the rich continue while everyone else is expected to scrimp.
