Were I a library worker, I would not want the citizenry to have direct control of my wages, particularly in Minnesota. From the discussions on this list in the last couple of years, it's pretty clear that some Minnesotans want everyone else to have a pay cut. Librarians and library aides and pages and whoever do not work for you. They work for the library. Of course there are scabs who will work for less, but it is not a situation I would want my child to face on his first job.
