I take shortages of natural resources very serious...not for my twilight
years so much but for our future. There's some good websites on electric
cars that burn gas also. Toyota Hybrid The car gets 600 miles per gallon of
gas and recharges itself when traveling so it is not a plug in. Still uses
some fossil fuel but perhaps not enough to start wars over and could
become synthetic in time. Fuel cells with hybrid technology is an elementary
design which should have replaced guzzlers long before now. But when one
gets tax write offs when purchasing 4x4s and Hummers...it's hard to believe
government wants change.

The expansion of the airport is political..it's a stupid idea but Northwest
has support from MAC and the Gov due to the party. I would like to see other
cities taking on some of the traffic as mentioned in RT's piece. Get LRT and
North Star expanded so perhaps some rail cars could be used as cargo cars
from airport to airport.
