I keep wonderign how long it will take for politicos and others to figure
out that you can't build your way out of congestion. The more traffic lanes
there are, and the less conveneint, reasonably priced, transit, the more
folks will drive.
For myself, I am pushing for more transit to key locations. Never again,
unless it is in the dark of night (like 5 AM pickup of my teen at the
Humphrey terminal tomorrow), will I drive to the airport and pay for parking
when I fly or see someone off. Now if only they would see fit to pave
the "in town" Park and rides, like the one at Midtown/Lake Street!
