But Savage City Council Member Janet Williams said that bringing the meetings to the Web could fit well with her city's emphasis on open government: "The more the people know, and the more they understand, the less problems you have."

I found the StarTrib article on webcasting of Council meetings very interesting in the name of Open Government.

For those of you summer fans that love 90degree hot weather have a great day. For me, after a Dedication of new space at Eloise Butler I think I need to go check out the Water Park and I absolutely promise to not hand out literature.
