Of the three references that Michael Atherton lists, two come from the 
National Home Education Research Institute and the other I must go to the 
library to 
read. Actually I must read all three at the library because as Atherton 
points out, one is a summary and in reading the pdf of the other, I discovered 
it 
is missing five pages of the "Methods" section making any sort of analysis 
impossible. Perhaps there is a homeschooler somewheres in the U of M's famous 
Twins reared apart study; I'll look into it along with any home schooled 
Mariachis.

I am thankful for Margaret Hastings request request in this thread for 
specific Minneapolis info on homeschooling, but except for the one parent who 
explained offlist how his homeschooled daughter rode the bus to community 
oriented 
activities, I still have no answers to what other things Minneapolis 
homeschoolers do towards socialization aside from eating at our fine Mexican 
restaurants.
