Do your sorting and grouping without the memo field. Then create a query which combines the results of the sorting and grouping and the memo field. Use that query for the control source of your report.

Is there any fix to it as I need the grouping and sorting function? Thanks! This is the problem....does anyone have a solution? Memo fields can get truncated at 256 characters if they are part of a query where sorting and grouping is done.
