I don't agree with it, most of app especially games for iOS and Android use some widget to change configuration, etc. and they use custom widget (drawing). http://www.codenameone.com/ use custom widget to iPhone/iPad (iOS), Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry etc, and I've test it, all is OK. I think it's MSEgui chance that it uses its own widgets into the gadget's world.
