 That is the difference with companies like ARM, who actually has developers
who contribute to GCC and pays third parties like CodeSourcery to maintain
the GNU toolchain for ARM... Same as Intel with Wasabi for their XScales... etc.

 BTW, I know that Atmel is working big time in reducing the power
consumption of their new AVRs and AT91s, and it seems they will finally roll
out their ZigBee solutions.

 I think that TI should revise their developer and customer support model if
they want to protect their investment in the MSP430 line and avoid loosing
customers in the near future... My 2 cents.
