when I was consulting I did one of those presales things. Had me and an Altiris 
guy in the same room fielding questions. The desktop team was trying to 
"decide" what to use.
Their manager an director was in the meeting.

I mentioned on the plus points "you already own it and paid for it"

The director asked the MS reps present if that was true and they said yes.

Director got up and left telling the desktop guys "you can pick whatever you 
want, but we will be using SMS"

SCCM included in enterprise eCal, most likely you already own it
Altiris = millions.

it is a no brainer to me.
