Hm. It's better because it's more expensive? Not quite my idea
of quality :-)

You know, that's _exactly_ what I'd say! :-) But I'd add:
" and FOR ME, the extra features of the tR are not worth the cost"

(Note the emphasis on "FOR ME", please. I don't want to start
 another 'mine is better than yours' war!)

*Wonder* Are you now saying MegaSCSI is good because it's PD????
The fact that it is PD is ok, but that doesn't set the _technical_
quality!

No wonder!  As you already stated,there aren't very much programmers
left on the MSX scene, and not all of them own this - relatively
expensive (yes, the same issue again, I know) - hardware.  Then,
those who _do_ own a Moonsound or GFX9000 sooner or later realize
that this hw is not so easy to program as their old fav. MSX hw and
that they programming for not more than, let's say 10 or 20 people!
Not really inspiring...
