On my PC, I have a SoundBlaster 16. If I sample something with that a lot of
noise is added to the sample, forming some kind of sinus waveform or so,
anyways, if I play my samples on a frequency which is only a little bit
higher than the frequency I sampled in (say a E instead of a C), you hear a
tuuuu flute-like tone in the background.
And that's shit.
