Okay, I can solder. But the devices you mention above are in fact both very
simple which only connect some pins of one connector to another connector.
No other electronics involved in that but wires. I know how the MSX
joystickport works, so therefor I could easily make those... However, the PC
joystick > MSX device will be alot more difficult (and if I say alot I mean
alot!).

Yep... Okay, problem one: where can I find a detailed overview of (if not
all, a lot of) ICs with some documentation describing the way they work and
the appropriate serial numbers??? Hmmm... this will be a tough job...
