Because you're the only guy I know that doesn't use UZIX because it doesn't work with your Sunrise RS232. So, I'll make a driver only to you be able to use UZIX. If other people wanna use the driver, no problem. > > Since now you need a UNIX-box near your MSX to connect to the > > internet, why would you download a file with your MSX if you can do it > > (faster and better) using your UNIX-box???? > Aha!!! Hey, big fudeba, read the docs. Need glasses? It's there with all the letters: only SLIP is implemented yet - your need a UNIX-box near your MSX. Read again the docs: in the future, PPP and modem support will be implemented, so you will not need the UNIX-box near your MSX. And, YES, it's really "with your MSX". It's not yet "only with your MSX". Your MSX has an IP, your MSX receives and transmits IP packets and handle them. > Although talking about dirty tricks... Break it was called if I > remember correctly... Dirty tricks like calling ROM routine directly, reading/writing mapper registers directly, do directly slot-switching, putting routines on a HMA you think it's free, enabling/disabling interrupts to get speed, acessing the hardware directly, etc. Adriano Camargo Rodrigues da Cunha ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Engenharia de Computacao - UNICAMP http://www.adrpage.cjb.net http://if.you.dont.like.msx.usuck.com * 667: the beast's neighbour. * **** MSX Mailinglist.
