It'll work on this way: You can access throught ports on the same way
(so, it's 100% backward compatible), or you can access it's memory
directly throught normal BUS. In fact, you can access using both
ways at the same time! (((-:
It's 100% backward compatible (old applications will not even know
that ADVRAM is there) and compare ADVRAM with GFX9000 is not fair.
Why? I think using ADVRAM with V9958 will be FASTER than using GFX9000.
BTW, using ADVRAM with V9990 (internal, on that case), will be EVEN
FASTER than using ADVRAM with V9958... (((-: The use of ADVRAM do not
exclude the use of GFX9000.
Also, ADVRAM will be a lot cheaper than GFX9000, and is not dependent
of any hardware vendor (such as Yamaha)... So, it'll be always available
for a resonable price. (-:
